ESA Liaison

The Position

This person will report to the Director of AZ Learning Communities and work closely with the rest of the team. The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Creating content (presentations, flyers, etc) to help parents understand ESA policy and procedure

  • Manage an online community of parents regarding ESA updates and issues

  • Answer questions for stakeholders

  • Connect ESA vendors with families

  • Connect with ADE on issues relating to ESA

The Person

  • Experience with the ESA program and an understanding of the policy change process

  • Knowledge of school choice policy in general

  • Experience with Google Suite and Zoom 

  • Comfortable learning new technology platforms

  • Robust customer service skills, particularly in managing several clients at one time

  • Ability to self-start, prioritize, multi-task, and work as a member of a team

  • High degree of organizational skills with a fine attention to detail

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required

About the Company

AZ Learning Communities is an online private school serving grades K-12 in Arizona.

Our mission is to support home-educating families with curricular and supplemental materials, expert staff, and a comprehensive parent community. In January 2023, we are launching hybrid learning opportunities in certain locations. The online model consists of virtual support for students and caregivers. The hybrid model offers two days of in-person learning for students in addition to the online program.

We believe that each child has unique needs and is therefore best served by an individualized learning plan. The child’s caregiver is well-suited to tailor this learning experience and we are here to help!
